Every collection I create begins with a story, and the Papplewick Collection is one that carries a special sense of place. Named after the Nottinghamshire village with its historic hall and extraordinary Victorian pumping station, it’s a celebration of English heritage, where strength and beauty stand side by side. I wanted the collection to feel timeless yet fresh, capturing that balance in fabric and colour.

The shade that holds it all together is cornflower blue. It’s one of those colours that never goes out of style — as soft and airy as a summer sky, yet rich and vibrant like wildflowers scattered through meadows. I love how versatile it is: striking against navy, understated with grey, or perfectly light with linen. It’s a colour that feels right at home whether you’re dressing for a wedding, black-tie evening, or just adding a dash of polish to everyday style.

To bring that vision to life, the collection offers something for everyone. There are self-tie bow ties for those who enjoy the ritual of tying their own knot, pre-tied bow ties for effortless elegance, and classic neckties for a more traditional look. To complete the outfit, you’ll find matching pocket squares and cufflinks, perfect for pulling everything together. And because I believe style should be shared across generations, the Papplewick Collection also includes children’s bow ties, so the littlest members of the wedding party can match too.

For me, that’s what makes this collection so special — it’s not just about accessories, it’s about moments. Whether you’re dressing up for one of life’s biggest celebrations or adding a subtle flourish to your everyday wardrobe, the Papplewick Collection brings a touch of heritage, elegance and joy to every knot and fold.

With Love

Emma
